This year, we won’t be gathering as a church on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, but we will have a Christmas Party and service on Christmas Eve Eve! We’ll be meeting on Friday, December 23, at 6 pm. For more information about what we’ll be doing (including our Christmas ornament gift exchange!), contact us at info@orchardonline.org.
As many of you know, we’ve changed our focus somewhat from being a church whose main services were all online, to being primarily a locally meeting church (in Sacramento) that also offers weekly online services. This change has made it a logistical necessity for Jack Foster to withdraw from our senior pastoral team. This team oversees and pastors the whole church and—since…
We’ve made some changes to our weekend service schedule. Beginning Sunday (Sep 25), we’ll be meeting locally in person (in the Sacramento area) every Sunday evening at 5:30. The following constitution and bylaws establish a framework for our fellowship and ministry together as a church. ARTICLE I: NAME The name of this church shall be The Orchard. It is incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the laws of the State of California. ARTICLE II: PURPOSE A. Greatest Commandment Before anything else, we are worshipers of God, disciples of Jesus Christ,…
Beginning Thursday, April 21, we’ll begin a 6-part series exploring significant developments in the history of the church, especially those that still impact the church today. The Forum meets every other Thursday at 6 pm Eastern and 6 pm Pacific. For more information, please contact us at info@orchardefc.org.
Our annual congregational meeting will be Sunday, February 20, 8:30 am Pacific/11:30 am Eastern. If you’re a part of The Orchard, please join us as we pray for God’s wisdom and discuss together where we are as a church, the opportunities God has given us and the challenges we face.
Everyone is invited to a Christmas Party at the Brackett’s home in Orangevale, CA, Sunday, December 19 at 5:30 pm. Dinner and dessert will be provided; we just ask each person to bring a wrapped Christmas ornament ($5 or less) for a gift exchange. For more information, contact us!
