We’re currently functioning as a simple Saturday evening Bible fellowship. But our desire is to grow into being a fully functioning church. What kind of church? The “DNA” of what we aspire to be as a church can be expressed in the four core commitments listed below. Click on each to see a more detailed description of who we believe God intends us to be as a church.
Graciously and uncompromisingly evangelical
Biblical principles first—then practical application
Team approach to church leadership
Focused on our mission
We strive to provide as much freedom as possible concerning the differing views that people in our fellowship may hold. To be a Jesus-following church we do need to be united in the essential beliefs of the faith. And to be able to function as a cohesive church body, there are some secondary issues on which we must be in general agreement. Understanding these “same page” issues can help you have a better feel for who we’ll be as a church:
Matters of Personal Conscience
Different Views on the Nature of Hell
The Orchard Bible Fellowship is a member congregation of the National Association of Evangelicals.
We’re also part of a growing number of churches and fellowships who welcome evangelical universalists to fully participate in the life of our fellowship.
