As many of you know, we’ve changed our focus somewhat from being a church whose main services were all online, to being primarily a locally meeting church (in Sacramento) that also offers weekly online services. This change has made it a logistical necessity for Jack Foster to withdraw from our senior pastoral team. This team oversees and pastors the whole church and—since much of that church is now meeting locally each week in Sacramento, and Jack is in Puerto Rico—this just isn’t possible anymore. But Jack remains an integral part of our broader pastoral team, and will be pastorally leading in our online services.

We also have the exciting news of announcing that Mona and Chris Brackett are now serving officially as our youth pastors. Chris has been part of this ministry from the beginning, and Mona currently does all the coordinating of our youth group meetings. She has also taught series for the youth. And, of course, the Bracketts host the youth group each time they meet. So we are making official what has been a ministry reality for some time by officially appointing them to be our youth pastors.
